Working at a popular hosting company with their main focus on the specific and intense needs of gameserver - application hosting teaches you a lot about the challenges associated with often imperformant software that you are unable to improve most of the time. This requires all of us to keep up with the latest developments in the hard- and software market to fulfil the steadily increasing needs of customers.

My passions

I love coding! Creating (mostly) working code which makes life easier or solves complex problems is the absolute best. The ability to write code is an absolute gift.
Also, administering servers, routers and other appliances is one of my passions and everyday duties.

This lead me to Freifunk Karlsruhe and creating my own IoT devices as well :)
